    Three-day trip

    It's more than a collection of the most interesting places to see in and around Bangkok. This is a coherent and interestingly told story of Siam, from the medieval kingdoms through the colorful and bloody story of the bloom and fall of Ayutthaya. The emergence of Bangkok and its history are explored. Interlaced with curiosities from everyday life, varied by picturesque views complemented with great food. It’s a combination of a one-day tour of Bangkok with a visit to the floating Damnoen Saduak market, the famous Bridge on the River Kwai and the beautiful ruins of Ayutthaya.

    Included: 2 nights’ hotel (with a double room) and breakfast, 3 day trip with a guide, all scheduled trips and entrance tickets, 2 breakfasts in the hotel and 3 lunches in local restaurants, transfers from/to the airport in Bangkok.

    Accommodations during the trip: one in the center of Bangkok and one in the vicinity of the River Kwai there will be double rooms with breakfast. Children up to 10 years of age can stay without an extra bed.

    Dress codes are required for all temples which are clothing that are covering the thighs and arms. Female visitors should also have a light jacket or a shawl. The most restrictive place in terms of manners is the Grand Palace, clothing must be loose, covering the knees and sleeves up to the elbows. This also applies to men too, they cannot be scarves covering the garment. It is possible to rent a costume on bail for your convenience.

    DAY 1

    The most beautiful places in the capital of Thailand

    Starting with Wat Arun temple; it’s called the Temple of the Sunrise. This will be a water tram ride and a walk along the market and other Sampeng stalls, existing here since 1782. You’ll get to know the history of the Wat Po temple known for the largest statue of the Reclining Buddha in Thailand. There will also be the famous Grand Palace complex and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. After lunch and rest, we'll see the home of the creator of the silk empire - Jim Thompson. One of the most beautiful, East Asian houses, full of works of art. You will see how silkworm cocoons are grown and spin delicate threads. End of the tour around 16:00.

    DAY 2

    The Second World War and Death Railway

    Wonderful nature, monuments, and history, the most famous floating market in the world- Damnoen Saduak. Death Railway was built by prisoners of the Japanese labor camp. Damnoen Saduakt one of the most interesting water fairs in the world. Here in the slow rhythm of Siam, the boats are moving with goods or with clients. Get into one of them and become a participant in this unusual trade. The Death Railway is considered one of the largest engineering ventures of World War 2. Today, a relaxing train ride through the famous Bridge on the River Kwai awaits you, with views of the river, mountains and the Thai countryside. Lunch will be served in a restaurant overlooking the River Kwai.

    DAY 3

    The History Stage of the Siam Empire

    A day among the ruins and temples of Ayutthaya - called the small Angkor Wat - a place where ghosts of old Siam live. Ayutthaya in the sixteenth century was the largest metropolis in the world. The ruins of Khmer temples and Buddhist buildings will be a background to the stories. The city's former splendor, its rulers, old customs, wars in defense of independence with the participation of European mercenaries and battle elephants and many others. As usual, on our trips, we will take you for a great lunch.

    Return to the hotel in Bangkok on Saturday around 16:30.
